As much shit as I've given them since their release, I'm thinking of getting one. What I need to do is decide between a few and then watch for Black Friday deals. Analysts predict prices on tablets like the Xoom and Galaxy to get down to 200-300 for the Wi-Fi versions and $100 or even less for the myriad of generic tablets out there.
I'm not getting an Apple due to the rigid price point, gay factor, and it's not compatible with anything else I own.
I know Rhyliss has the Xoom. Do others have any of these things? Right now I'm leaning towards the Galaxy 10.1 or 7" Wi-Fi and started looking at the HTC Flyer, which is currently running Gingerbread but set for a Honeycomb update soon.
Any suggestions or reviews on any other Android tablets?
Thanks

Love dat Xoom.
Although my wife has stolen it recently and won't stop playing Plants v. Zombies. That bitch!

I have one of the Galaxy tablets. I played with the Xoom and honestly they may as well be the same thing- Xoom might have a camera, not sure.
I had a rebate for the Galaxy so that's what I bought.
My dad got an Acer Iconia I think. It's a little slower but when it comes to watching videos or whatever it may as well be the same thing. Not like it takes a lot of power to play angry birds and look at websites.
Mine is a 7" and has Wifi (Don't they all? Or are some only on 3g/4g?). I use it for presentations and taking notes. It's really handy and gets better battery life than my laptop, so it does everything I wanted. I think I gave like $400 or so for mine at the time. I don't regret it, although I knew full well they'd be super cheap by christmastime. Just too much convenience factor in what I use it for to not have one.
Beats the shit out of printing out 50 pages on some obscure topic I'll never read again.
The only apple product I have is an Ipod Touch. It's fine and I have no complaints, but if it hadn't been such a good deal I wouldn't have bought it- they must be the only thing Apple prices competitively relative to their actual features. I hate generic apple fans and I see plenty of them around here...

ASUS: Transformer Prime is something that I'd consider and actually makes sense to me.
