I've been keeping track. We just don't have enough 50s geared to do any ops. We only have like 5-6 active ones that did not quit, and half of them are tanks. I'm currently the only 50 healer.

So, who all is Tanks, who is DPS? Should I respec DPS? Can we get a list on here (the one you have been keeping Stari)?
Me: Hey, man can you hold on for two seconds?
J.R.: Yeah.
Me: Ok I'm back.
J.R.: That was more than two seconds.
Me: Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't think rednecks could count that high. :)

Rhuckus (Tank) Sun - Sat
Rip (Tank) Thurs - Fri
Xoul (DPS) Tues - Sun
Dugast (DPS) Sun
Genophage (DPS) Tues
Stari (Heals)

If we get one more Lvl 50 Heals, this is an 8 man raid group. As for Scheduling, you can add Sat to my list of available days. Although it looks like even doing that won't help much with the scheduling, but for completeness at least.

Then it looks like we just need to find a day that works for everyone and then use that time to start gearing up.

By gearing up I'm suggesting our 8-Man Raid nights would look like this for a week or two:

- Hard Mode BT (2 4 Man Groups)
- Hard Mode Boarding Party (2 4 Man Groups)
- (If Time Permits) Hard Mode False Emporer (2 4 Man Groups)

With these Notes:
- BT can be finished in a half hour if the group is on top of it (mostly by not forgetting to hit space bar). However, if we are undergeared, we can do the first three bosses, not kill the last Boss (Yadira Ban AKA Bubblegum) and then reset and redo the first three Bosses as many time as we want, this can help us gear up quicker. This trick works with all Hard Modes. (Here's a link to HM Drops: https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B91ENxZk5GfQMjE2OGY1YTQtZjMyNS00NmRkLTkwY2YtOWMxOWJhMmU3M2Nj&hl=en_US&pli=1)

- Boarding Party is pretty doable I hear (Stari confirm?) except for the last Boss. If we are undergeared I hear that fight is difficult, as in it's way overtuned and there is very little room for error (and gear will give us more leeway).

- If we manage to finish both BT and BP without many problems then we can work on False Emperor. This one requires solid DPS to be able to get through the bosses.

- Once we gear up a bit from doing this we can move on to the last 4 Hard Mode FPs (The Foundry, Koan Under Siege, Battle of Illum, and Directive 7 in general order of difficulty).

- Also, I hear the Eternity Vault Normal Mode is not as difficult as some of the Hard Mode FPs so we may want to start doing 8 man Ops there after some gearing.

Let me know what you think.

/agree with grinding the easier HMs except the last boss.  however as mentioned before some of us were unable to DPS the 2nd boss on HM BT.  lokking around the internets it seems to gear up for HMs we need the implants and ear piece from dailies, all mods level 50+ epics (purple 22s and 23s) and some gear from the non-HM FPs.  we ran D7 last night and the only real upgrade i noticed was the hat from the last boss.  i am reading FE should have better gear through out the FP.

Then maybe we add FE Normal Mode to the rotation.

My tank currently has all Mods Lvl 50+ Epics except for 1 enhancement, a Rakata Level Artifact Belt I made from a BT crafting drop, and an artifact tier .5 implant and ear piece.

I still need the Legs, Bracers, and Earpiece from BT though (the Ear item is an upgrade from my current artifact ear item). And I need two Implants from Dailies but that's gonna take me forever cause I can really only play for any length of time one night a week.

I've tanked BT a few times as well, so FE Normal shouldn't be too bad. Lets GET IT ON! :)

Sorry for the double post, but I just noticed that Cardis started this thread and he's not on this list. Oversight or burn Stari? Which is it?  ;D

It's not a completed list, we have to many tanks since Cadis is a tank too. We also don't have enough people with days that match. I can also only raid Sundays currently cus of work.

8 man ops is 2 heals one tank the test DPS.

Might be able to pull off a joint raid to get people gear with another guild.

From what ive seen we also have alot of melee dps which does hurt as well.
Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate.

Surprisingly some fights melee dps is better, and some awful.

Part of me has a knee jerk reaction to this saying "Bad Design" but another part of me thinks that some variation in need for melee versus ranged DPS is a good thing; however, making some fights un-winnable without a specific class along again smacks of bad design. I guess it's a fine line between allowing for diversity in groups and tuning a fight to require specific skills to win.
